SWEET PEA SPECIES
LATHYRUS belinensis
A very intersting new specie which is native to Turkey. It has masses of small flowers with upper standard petals which are orange with red veins that contrast well with the yellow lower wing petals. It is easily grown and has a rambling habit making it ideal for ground cover of growing through plants in the border. Grows to a height of 4 feet.

LATHYRUS chloranthus
Lemon and Lime
A native of Turkey and Asia Minor, this small flowered specie has very attractive pure lime green flowers which is very unusual in Lathyrus species. The plants are easy to grow and will flower in the first year from early sowings. Height 3-5ft (90-150cm).

LATHYRUS latifolius Mixed
A true Perennial Sweet Pea specie. Lathyrus latifolius is vigorous in habit with very attractive flowers in shade pink, rose and white.
LATHYRUS sativus
King Tut
A small flowered specie with rambling habit, growing up to 100cm (3ft) tall. It has very attractive electric blue flowers, occasionally tinged with pink. Seeds of this specie are reputed to have been found in the tomb o Tutankamun.

LATHYRUS tingitanus
Deep Purple
This specie is sometimes known as the "Tangier Pea" and is a native of the Western Meditteranean. Deep Purple is very easy to germinate and grow. The plants are vigorous in habit and have interesting rich purple flowers. The flowering period of this variety can be extended by deadheading.

LATHYRUS SPECIES MIXED
An interesting mixture of species of Lathyrus that are easy to raise from seed and will all flower in the first year.
